

Please note that the warranty becomes void if the equipment is dropped from a height of 6 inches or higher. A 10 year warranty is huge, but given how few moving parts there are on these, it’s understandable. We always love to see a good warranty, and PowerBlock definitely delivers here. They cannot survive drops unlike the traditionally fixed dumbbells.

This limits its capability to be used along with other lower versions of the PowerBlock Dumbbells.

Unloaded, these dumbbells start off at 5 pounds, and cap out at 50 pounds each. To change weights, remove the pin, select the rail with the corresponding weight chart, then insert the pin completely into the desired slot. The way they slide in and out, you’re going to need to make sure not to misalign them and risk damaging the mechanism. PowerBlocks are adjustable dumbbells that are simple to use. Durability is pretty solid on these, though users have to be cautious with the locking pins. That said, you could turn some of these movements into single-arm movements as a workaround. Replaces 28 pairs of dumbbells / 2565 lbs. Rows, curls, and presses of all sorts aren’t really an issue, but things like overhead tricep extensions, or other moves where you would otherwise grip the end of the dumbbell are basically out of the question. Simply tilt the handle back and place the dial lock in the open position to gently remove the adder weights inside the lower ballast tubes, then close the dial lock and place the handle back in the set. Added increments achieved 75, 77.5, 80, 85, 87.5, and 90 lbs per hand.
Powerblock 90 free#
Replaces an additional 990 lbs of free weights. 90 lb set will now replace 28 pairs of dumbbells. Adds 6 additional increments to 70 lb set. These dumbbells aren’t perfect, mind you, as their boxy design can be a bit cumbersome depending on the lift in question. Expands U-90 Stage II-70 Set from 70 lbs to 90 lbs per hand.
